Memory loss
can be mild or severe. It's quite normal to have trouble remembering
names of people you've just met, especially if you don't take the time
to solidify the memory. However, what if you don't remember the names
of your own children? How do we get to this state? And what caused such
tragic loss of memory in the first place?
This
section looks at a range of causes of memory loss and how to cope with
the condition, whether it's a mild nuisance or a complex life-changing
condition. We'll also look at the onset of memory loss and how the
process can be slowed down (such as in Alzheimer's Disease) or cured
altogether.
It's important to realize that the most
common cause of memory loss is aging - and it will likely affect us all
to some degree. With that in mind, we'll look at ways to train the
brain to slow down this degenerative process and how memory supplements
can help.
